About the Klamath Art Association and Gallery

Located in Klamath Falls Oregon at 120 Riverside Drive, the Klamath Art Association Gallery showcases a different artist or photographer nearly every month in a cozy intimate gallery space that is a delight for gallery goers. A few months per year are dedicated to group shows. The gallery not only shows work from local artists and photographers, but also hosts shows by artists from outside the region. Admission is free. From time to time KAA offers instructional classes that are open to the public, as are all of our events. The
non-profit member supported Klamath Art Association averages 140 members.

KAA is the oldest organization of its kind in Oregon and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1946. The Gallery is open from 12-4 PM Thursdays thru Mondays. During the months of June through September, our membership participated in the community 3rd Thursday Art Walks.

Sales Policies
At least 75% of all works displayed in exhibits need to be for sale. In members's group exhibits and in invitational showings in January, February, April, November and December, all works are for sale. Works are considered sold only after payment is made by cash, check, or major credit card (Visa and Mastercard). A 30 lay-a-way plan is available. If a work is sold, the gallery will notify the artist to bring in a replacement piece.

Commission
The gallery charges members a 25% commission when a work is sold. If a member volunteers to be a once a month gallery host for a calendar year, their commission is dropped to 20% for all their works that are sold during that year. Training will be provided. Non-members pay a 30% commission for all works sold.

New members are always welcome!
Membership benefits are huge! Networking within the community, and learning about statewide opportunities to view and sell artwork or photography keep KAA members extremely well informed.

Membership applications/renewal forms are available by clicking on the Membership link at the top of this page. Please note to mail them to our post office box listed on the application. Applications are also available at the gallery.
