Wanted: Instructors for 2017-2018 Classes

* Now taking INSTRUCTOR applications for 2017-2018
     classes.

If you would like to offer a class or seminar, we are looking for instructors to teach arts, crafts and photography classes.  There is a flat $30.00 per session fee for gallery usage which you should build into what you charge for your class. You set the price of the class in addition to the flat fee. You may charge for materials, or just give each person a supply list in advance.

You may teach the class for a fundraiser for the gallery by asking that the people who take your class make a donation to the gallery.

The gallery is open for teaching classes only outside of its regular operational hours. The gallery exhibits are open Thursdays through Mondays noon to 4 PM. The gallery space is available mornings before 11:45 AM, evenings after 4:15 PM, except the first Wednesday of every month. During the last week of every month, the gallery is sometimes available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between exhibits as long as the showing artist for the next month is not setting up new exhibit. Always check the gallery calendar page before requesting a date and time for classes.

We are looking for people to teach adult classes, but recently have been getting requests for an instructor to teach art classes for teenagers in the 14 to 18 year old age bracket on Saturday mornings, due to cut backs and scheduling conflicts in the public schools.

If you are interested in teaching a class,  you will need to fill out the form for Instructors from this same web site. Here is the link: Instructors Application . Allow 6 to 8 weeks for approval. Think in advance!

Also send a written press release to klamathartassoc@aol.com with the subject line: "__________________" class press release.
